Trophy

Well you all know how challenging it can be to keep these beasts on the road.
Been rebuilding the brake system and working on the front calipers.
Typical you get so far and then the brick wall time to walk away and have a break, gather the brain power and solve the riddle.
The first was easier than I anticipated, had this problem in several cars seized brake nipple, did some research and hey presto this does work.
Here is the link to u tube on freeing seized brake bleed screws [www.youtube.com]
That worked really well for one but the other refused to move, so resorted to [www.fraserbrowneng.co.uk]
So both bleed screws sorted and now on to rebuild calipers, used compressed air to force cylinders out except one, heated it got it turning then compressed air but would not budge, time for a break then the penny dropped
Once this was done the piston gave up and pulled out as nice as you like so the calipers now rebuilt and have trophy sitting on my desk to remind me to step back from the problem, "youve found the hard way so lets work out the easy way"

har har, hope this info helps if anyone finds themselves in similar deep water

Best regards

John
